Roland Blues Cube Sparkle Clean Tone Capsule
Designed to give your Blues Cube Series amplifier a whole new tone, the Roland Blues Cube Sparkle Clean Tone Capsule resembles a tube: plug this capsule into the chassis of your amp, and you'll effect an entirely different sound. This capsule has been fashioned in conjunction with Jeff Skunk Baxter (Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers) to give you a tone resembling a KT66-driven British amplifier. You'll experience a wider, more dynamic clean tone, one that is cleaner and feels more organic.
The capsule also changes the nature of your amp's dual-channel operation. With the Blues Cube Sparkle Clean Tone Capsule, your clean channel remains clean, but your crunch channel is not heavily distorted; it too remains clean, but offers a more complex harmonic response, providing added richness. If you're primarily a stompbox-driven clean player, these two voicings will give you options in sculpting your tone.
Like other Tone Capsules, the Blues Cube Sparkle Clean makes use of Roland's Tube Logic circuitry, mimicking the delicate balance between output transformer, speaker impedance, negative feedback, and other variables present in the domain of vintage amplifiers. You can use this capsule with the Blues Cube Artist, Artist 212, Stage, or Tour amplifiers.
